it seems that I get to the end of a week and think, "where did it all go?" Even with my new consistent calendar planning, I find that I lose track of the art time I actually do spend -- and that my intention to do something creative on paper, iPad or fabric very day is easy to lose track of. So about a week ago I started a journal devoted only to creative art time and products thus created, be they ever so large or small.
I'm using an app called Ordinary Days, very clean, simple and lovely to look at. I'm not making this as complete or at thoughtful as my blog, which I still regard more as a private record than a public forum.. But I do put more of a public face here. The Ordinary Days journal is really keeping me on track with making art every day.
