A great piece form one of the participants in my Nature Inspired Surface Design Workshop in Austin. HELP! Send me your name for full credit!
The Friday workshop for the Austin Fiber Arts members this last week was really fun, with lots of great processes demo'ed and done. We raced through soy wax batik, sun printing, microwave silk scarf dyeing, printmaking and more, all inspired by an hour of fluency exercises to generate lines, shapes and forms.
Here is the supply resource list for any of you interested in trying your hand. (and of course, I love teaching this workshop, see my workshop page for details.)
